to utilize and expand upon my teaching experience and capabilities in
Elementary Education.
I act as a facilitator, using hands-on learning and interactive discussion groups to assist student learning of subjects and apply the concepts of math, science, social studies, and literacy. I have created an interactive website that students can access at school or at home. I have created numerous hands-on manipulatives to assist student learning. I establish a variety of teaching strategies that includes group work, teacher directed lessons, independent self-directed lessons, and hands-on activities. I encourage and improve student development by making each individual student feel worthwhile and good about her or himself and try to give them a positive learning experience to help shape their future education. I maintain a well-balanced positive learning environment with consistant discipline. I effectively communicate with peers, students, and their parents (through weekly newsletters and my classroom web page).
