I am now in the process of end of year fluency assessment. I can see that many of you practiced fluency with your child. Since your child needs to be at least 40 words per minute to move on to the 2nd grade fluency practice was and is a very important part of your child's homework. As I have expressed throughout the year, it is important to practice fluency. Please continue to do this with your child throughout the summer.
Facts Test
This weeks test will be a mix of addition and subtraction. Students should be able to count up for addition and count back for subtraction.

If you haven't done this, please check out the wiki page for our classroom. On the right hand side of the page you will find the list of pages. Student work is displayed and pictures of students working in the classroom. I will try to keep updating with more pictures of classroom happenings.
